# How to Use the Candidate Leaderboard

> How to rank, compare, and act on candidates for a job using the Candidate Leaderboard.

**Core.** The Leaderboard is the ranking surface for a job: who's leading, who's not, and why, rolled up from the Unified Report.

## Before you start

The job needs at least one candidate with a completed channel.

    Narrow the ranking to one interview stage — AI Screening, Phone, Voice, or
    Avatar Interview — or leave it on all stages combined.
