# How to Add and Manage Customers

> How to add and manage the client companies your organization hires for in Exterview: a standard administrative task, no AI required.

**Core.** A customer in Exterview is a client company your organization hires for, not your own organization's account. Every job belongs to a customer, so Exterview keeps its firmographics, contacts, and hiring activity in one place.
