# How to Set Safety and Oversight

## Purpose

These settings will turn your existing hiring policy into rules your team has reviewed and approved, so no decision runs on a rule nobody signed off on. Ask your Customer Success contact about safety and oversight options available today.

## How it will work

    Upload the document your organization already uses, for example a PDF describing your hiring rules and requirements.

  <Step title="Review the suggested rules">
    Exterview will read the document and suggest rules based on it, such as minimum experience or other requirements it found in your policy.

  <Step title="Approve the rules your team wants to use">
    Someone on your team will review each suggested rule and approve, edit, or reject it. Only approved rules would ever be used to evaluate candidates.
