# How to Run EX Voice

## Before you start

You need a configured role with EX Voice enabled, and a candidate to invite. See [Configure](/configure/overview) and [Session Types](/deploy/session-types).

    In the role's configuration, turn on EX Voice for the pipeline stage where the voice screen should run.

    The candidate joins from any browser, passes the device check, and completes the voice interview with the agent.
