Purpose
Every AI agent Exterview runs for your organization is built from a Skill: a purpose, a prompt instruction, and the constraints it must follow. Agent Skills lists the Skills your organization uses (your own customizations plus the platform defaults you haven’t overridden), lets you verify your identity to view a prompt instruction, and lets people with the right permission edit it, save a new version, and activate it.Steps
1
Open Skills
Go to Settings → Setup → Skills. Each Skill appears as a card showing
its name, whether Exterview recommends it, its instruction key, and
whether it’s still using the platform default or your organization’s own
version.

2
Expand a Skill to see its purpose
Click a Skill to expand it and read its purpose, what it’s meant to do.
The prompt instruction itself stays hidden until you verify your
identity.

3
Verify to view the prompt instruction
Select View to open a verification dialog, then select Send OTP.
Exterview emails a one-time code to your account email; enter it to
unlock a read-only, copy-protected view of the prompt instruction for
about an hour.

4
Edit and save a new version
If your role has Setup edit permission, edit the prompt instruction and
select Save as New Version. Exterview asks for a change reason, then
creates a new version that’s saved but not yet live.

5
Activate a version
Review the version list and each version’s constraints and input/output
contract. If your role has Setup approve permission, select Set Active on
the version that should go live.
