How to Run an HR Round in Microsoft Teams

Schedule the HR round

Choose “HR” as the round type in the same scheduling dialog used for Panel rounds, pick Microsoft Teams as where it runs, and add your HR interviewer.

The bot joins the meeting

The Exterview bot dials into the meeting and posts a notice in the meeting chat that the interview will be recorded and transcribed.

The bot captures the transcript and recording

Once the meeting ends, Exterview fetches the meeting’s transcript and recording through Microsoft Graph.

AI generates the competency report

The transcript is analyzed against the HR round’s rubric to produce one report: an overall score, a recommendation, scores and evidence for each competency, and any red flags: the same report shape as a Panel round. See Read the HR report.
