Schedule the round and choose Exterview's room
From the candidate’s row, schedule a Panel or HR round and choose
“Exterview room” instead of Microsoft Teams as where it runs.

The candidate gets a branded join link by email
Exterview provisions a native video room and emails the candidate a
branded join link. No app or plugin install is required.

The candidate joins the room
The candidate opens the link to a short pre-join screen showing the
scheduled time and a notice that the session will be recorded and
transcribed, then joins when ready.

The round records and transcribes automatically
Recording and transcription start the moment the session begins — there’s
no separate setup step for panelists.

AI generates the competency report
The transcript is analyzed against the role’s rubric, the same way as a
Microsoft Teams panel round, and the result feeds into the candidate’s
